At Techius Solutions, we strive to ensure complete customer satisfaction. This Cancellation and Refunds Policy outlines the terms and conditions for cancelling services and requesting refunds for payments made through our payment gateways, including Razorpay.

Important: All payments are processed securely through authorized payment gateways including Razorpay. This policy applies to all transactions processed through these platforms.

1. Cancellation Policy

1.1 Digital Products (One-Time Purchase)

For digital products such as templates, themes, plugins, and ready-made assets:

  • Before Download: Full refund available if product has not been downloaded
  • After Download: No cancellation or refund (digital products cannot be returned once accessed)
  • Defective Products: Replacement or refund if product is defective or not as described
  • Time Limit: Cancellation request must be made within 24 hours of purchase for non-downloaded products

1.2 Custom Services - Right to Cancel

For custom service agreements, you may cancel under the following conditions:

  • Before Project Commencement: Full cancellation available with refund eligibility (see Refund Policy)
  • During Project Execution: Cancellation possible with partial refund based on work completed
  • After Project Completion: No cancellation or refund available

1.3 How to Cancel

To cancel your service or product purchase:

  • Send a written cancellation request to info@techiussolutions.in
  • Include your order/invoice number, project details, and reason for cancellation
  • Call us at +91-9961560545 to discuss your cancellation
  • Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing for processing

1.4 Cancellation Processing Time

Cancellation requests are processed within:

  • 24-48 hours for acknowledgment of cancellation request
  • 3-5 business days for cancellation approval and refund calculation
  • 7-14 business days for refund processing (if applicable)

2. Refund Policy

2.1 Digital Products Refund Policy

For one-time digital product purchases:

Eligible for Refund:

  • Product not downloaded within 24 hours of purchase - 100% refund
  • Product is defective, broken, or missing critical files - Full refund or replacement
  • Product significantly not as described in listing - Full refund within 7 days
  • Technical issues preventing product use (verified by our team) - Full refund or replacement
  • Duplicate purchase (accidental) - Full refund within 48 hours

NOT Eligible for Refund:

  • Product has been downloaded and accessed
  • Changed mind after downloading
  • Lack of technical skills to use the product
  • Compatibility issues not mentioned in product description
  • Found a similar product at a lower price elsewhere
  • Product works but doesn't meet your specific needs

Important: All digital product sales are final once downloaded, except in cases of defective or misrepresented products.

2.2 Custom Services Refund Eligibility

For custom services, refunds are considered based on the project stage at the time of cancellation:

Stage 1: Before Project Start (0% Work Completed)

  • Eligible for 90% refund of total payment
  • 10% administrative and payment gateway charges retained
  • Must cancel within 48 hours of payment

Stage 2: Project Initiated (1-25% Work Completed)

  • Eligible for 75% refund of remaining balance
  • Charges for work completed will be deducted
  • Initial consultation and planning fees non-refundable

Stage 3: Project In Progress (26-50% Work Completed)

  • Eligible for 50% refund of remaining balance
  • All completed milestones must be paid in full
  • Work-in-progress will be charged proportionally

Stage 4: Project Advanced (51-75% Work Completed)

  • Eligible for 25% refund of remaining balance
  • Substantial work completed - limited refund available
  • Client will receive all work completed to date

Stage 5: Project Near Completion (76-100% Work Completed)

  • No refund available
  • All deliverables will be provided as per agreement
  • Final payment must be completed before delivery

2.3 Non-Refundable Items and Services

The following are non-refundable under all circumstances:

  • Downloaded digital products (templates, themes, plugins, etc.)
  • Domain name registration and renewal fees
  • Hosting and server charges paid to third parties
  • SSL certificates and security services
  • Third-party plugins, themes, or software licenses
  • Payment gateway transaction fees and charges
  • Email marketing or advertising campaign expenses
  • Stock photos, videos, or licensed content purchased for your project
  • Custom content creation (completed videos, animations, photography)
  • Consultation fees and initial project planning costs
  • Rush delivery or expedited service charges

2.4 Subscription and Recurring Services

For monthly or recurring services (digital marketing, maintenance, etc.):

  • 30-day notice required for cancellation
  • No refund for the current billing cycle
  • Service will continue until the end of the paid period
  • Cancellation effective from the next billing cycle
  • Annual plans may be eligible for pro-rated refunds (minus completed months)

3. Payment Gateway and Transaction Policies

3.1 Razorpay and Payment Gateway Charges

All transactions processed through Razorpay and other payment gateways are subject to:

  • Payment gateway transaction fees (2-3% of transaction value)
  • These fees are non-refundable and deducted from refund amounts
  • Bank charges and currency conversion fees (if applicable)
  • Processing fees for international transactions

3.2 Refund Processing Method

Refunds will be processed through the original payment method:

  • Credit/Debit Card: Refund to the original card within 7-14 business days
  • Net Banking: Refund to the original bank account within 7-10 business days
  • UPI: Refund to the original UPI ID within 5-7 business days
  • Digital Wallets: Refund to the original wallet within 5-7 business days

Note: Actual credit to your account may take additional time depending on your bank's processing schedule.

3.3 Failed or Duplicate Payments

In case of payment errors:

  • Failed Transactions: If amount is debited but transaction failed, refund within 5-7 business days
  • Duplicate Payments: Duplicate amounts will be refunded immediately upon verification
  • Incorrect Amount: Excess amount will be refunded or adjusted against pending payments
  • Contact us immediately with transaction details for faster resolution

4. Special Circumstances

4.1 Service Quality Issues

If you're unsatisfied with our service quality:

  • Contact us within 7 days of delivery with specific concerns
  • We will offer revisions as per the agreed terms (typically 2-3 rounds)
  • If issues cannot be resolved, partial refund may be considered
  • Refund amount determined by independent assessment of work quality

4.2 Project Delays by Techius Solutions

If we fail to deliver within agreed timelines due to our fault:

  • You may request cancellation with full refund of pending payments
  • Completed milestones will be charged as per agreement
  • Compensation may be offered for significant delays
  • Rush delivery charges (if paid) will be refunded

4.3 Client-Caused Delays

If delays are caused by client actions:

  • Delayed feedback or approval from client
  • Non-provision of required materials or information
  • Frequent change in requirements or scope creep
  • Extended project on-hold periods requested by client

In such cases, no refund will be provided, and additional charges may apply for extended project timelines.

5. Refund Request Process

5.1 How to Request a Refund

To request a refund:

  1. Send a detailed refund request to info@techiussolutions.in
  2. Include order number, payment details, and reason for refund
  3. Provide transaction ID from Razorpay or payment gateway
  4. Attach relevant screenshots or documentation
  5. Wait for our team to review and respond within 3-5 business days

5.2 Refund Approval Process

Once your request is received:

  • Day 1-2: Acknowledgment of refund request
  • Day 3-5: Review of project status and work completed
  • Day 5-7: Refund decision and calculation
  • Day 7-14: Refund processing through payment gateway
  • Day 14-21: Refund credited to your account (may vary by bank)

5.3 Required Information for Refund

Please provide the following for faster processing:

  • Full name and contact information
  • Order/Invoice number
  • Payment transaction ID
  • Date of payment
  • Amount paid
  • Payment method used (Card/Net Banking/UPI/Wallet)
  • Bank account details for refund (if different from original payment method)
  • Detailed reason for cancellation/refund request

6. Dispute Resolution

6.1 Internal Resolution

We encourage resolving disputes amicably:

  • Contact our customer support team first
  • Schedule a call to discuss concerns
  • We will work with you to find a mutually acceptable solution
  • Mediation options available for complex disputes

6.2 Payment Gateway Disputes

For payment-related disputes:

  • Contact Razorpay support for transaction-specific issues

  • We will cooperate fully with payment gateway investigations
  • Resolution timeframe: 15-45 days depending on complexity

6.3 Chargeback Policy

Regarding credit card chargebacks:

  • Contact us before initiating a chargeback
  • Chargebacks may result in suspension of services and legal action
  • We will provide complete documentation to dispute invalid chargebacks
  • Chargeback fees and administrative costs will be borne by the client if found invalid

7. Partial Refunds and Credits

7.1 Service Credits

As an alternative to refunds, we may offer:

  • Service credits for future projects
  • Credits valid for 12 months from issue date
  • Can be used for any Techius Solutions service
  • Non-transferable and non-redeemable for cash

7.2 Partial Service Delivery

If you wish to receive partial deliverables instead of full refund:

  • All completed work will be delivered
  • Payment for completed work must be settled
  • Source files and documentation provided for completed portions
  • Remaining balance refunded as per refund policy

8. International Transactions

For international clients:

  • Currency conversion rates at the time of original transaction apply
  • Refund amount may differ due to exchange rate fluctuations
  • International transaction fees and currency conversion charges are non-refundable
  • Additional processing time of 5-10 days for international refunds
  • Bank charges for international transfers borne by the client

9. Force Majeure

In case of extraordinary circumstances beyond our control:

  • Natural disasters, pandemics, wars, or government restrictions
  • Internet or infrastructure failures
  • Payment gateway or banking system failures

We will:

  • Extend project deadlines without additional charges
  • Offer project suspension until situations normalize
  • Provide refunds for undelivered work as per this policy
  • Not be liable for delays or non-performance due to force majeure

10. Amendments to Work During Project

If you request changes during the project:

  • Minor changes within scope are included
  • Major scope changes require additional payment
  • Additional payments are non-refundable
  • Timeline extensions may apply
  • Written approval required for scope changes

11. Tax and Legal Compliance

Regarding taxes and refunds:

  • All applicable taxes (GST, etc.) are included in the total amount
  • Taxes paid are non-refundable and must be claimed directly from tax authorities
  • Refund amounts will exclude GST and other applicable taxes
  • Tax invoices and refund documentation will be provided
